Termination Services

We prepare cables for termination, and also, install connectors. For traditional epoxy polish connectors, a three-step polishing process is performed. The final step utilizes a high-grade Diamond Polishing Paper to guarantee the highest quality connector end face.

To ensure ZERO defects prior to the final certification testing process, every completed termination is tested with an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) BEFORE it is dressed into the termination hardware.

The completed product is dressed into the termination hardware with the highest quality of craftsmanship and with an acute attention to detail.

Termination services are offered for any traditional epoxy polish or mechanical connectors. We also install AFL’s FuseConnect splice on connectors.  Common fiber optic connector styles are ST, SC and LC.

Each terminated fiber is tested in compliance with the Telecommunication Industry Association’s current certification specification, ANSI/TIA-568-D.3, for Tier 1, end to end attenuation, length, and the correct polarity. During the process of each fiber termination, we provide a complete, and detailed electronic soft copy documentation package, which is delivered at the project’s completion.

This test results documentation package will show not only the attenuation (loss) of the installed link, but it also includes network compliance reporting, depicting what network standards the installed link can support. This helps you immensely, in that it provides you with the results.
